At the cross, Jesus received all of the curses that we
deserved. An exchange took place there at the cross. Jesus
took all of the punishment for our sin, and we received all the
blessings that Jesus deserved. Jesus, the entirely righteous was made
sin. We, the entirely unrighteous, were made righteous. He
received our black robe of sin. We received His white robe of
righteousness.
Hebrews 10:12,14
But this Man,
after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the
right hand of God,

14because
by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever.
Romans 5:19
.... so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made
righteous.
