Blessings of Abraham

Abraham was chosen by God because He believed what God said. Because of what he believed, Abraham was made righteous by God. We born again Christians are also made righteous because of what we believe,

that Jesus Christ was God's Son,
He died for our sin on the cross
He was resurrected on the third day and now sits at God the Father's right hand in Heaven.

Romans 4: The words "it was credited to him" were written not for him alone, ²⁴but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. ²⁵He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

Genesis 15:6 He took him outside and said, "Look up at the heavens and count the stars—if indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be." Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Galatians 3:29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Romans 4:13 For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

Abraham was given the entire Middle East by God: Genesis 15:18 "To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates- ¹⁹ the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, ²⁰ Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, ²¹ Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites."

We, like Isaac, are Abraham's children/heirs Romans 9:8 In other words, it is not the natural children who are God's children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's offspring.

Galatians 3:6 Consider Abraham: "He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham. The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: "All nations will be blessed through you." So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

Genesis 24:1 ... the LORD had blessed him in every way.

Some of the blessings of Abraham:

He became the heir of the world.
His offspring as as numerous as the stars.
Even his serious mistakes were made to prosper. Twice he "sold" his wife into the harem of two different kings. God's Grace protected his wife and Abram became very rich when they were asked to leave the country. Ishmael, one of the worst mistake in history, was made to prosper by 12 kings coming from his linage.
Though he had no children until he was 100 years old, he was very fruitful. Genesis 13:16 I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted.
He became very wealthy: sheep, cattle, servants, silver, gold, camels, lands ..
God's blessing and Favor was transferred to his children and grandchildren: Isaac: Genesis 26:13 The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy., Jacob: Genesis 30:43 In this way the man (Jacob) grew exceedingly prosperous and came to own large flocks, and maidservants and menservants, and camels and donkeys.
Blessed with leadership: Genesis 14.
Blessed to be the father of many nations
His wife was blessed to be the mother of many nations.
His wife was beautiful well into her nineties.
