Asking Jesus into your heart. Mankind is God's greatest creation. We are His children. Long ago, man turned away from God and decided he could do things his way. When God created us, He gave us the power to choose to love Him or to choose to live without Him. People that have chosen to live without God will be separated from God forever, a terrible, terrible fate. God has given us a way, one way, to choose to live with Him forever. God sent His Son, Jesus, to earth to live as a man, to live a life without ever doing anything wrong, and to die a horrible death. The way to choose to live with God forever is very simple, very easy. You must accept the sacrifice of Jesus to reconcile you with God. That is all. Jesus sacrificed His life to give you the free gift of living forever with God. You may accept Jesus' sacrifice right now by speaking these words to God, your Heavenly Father, and believing these words as you speak them: Dear Heavenly Father, I want to live forever with you. You sent your Son Jesus to earth to die for me so that I will live forever with You. I accept Jesus as the Master of my life. I ask Jesus to come right now to live within me. I ask Jesus to teach me His way, God's way, of living. I thank you for this wonderful Gift. That is all there is to becoming God's child again. He will now teach you His way of living. You may see immediate, dramatic change in you life. Other changes will be more subtle. Every day for the rest of your life you will be changed to become more and more like God wants you to be. It is important that you read and study God's book, the Bible, to learn more about Jesus. Now that you have accepted Jesus you will be able to read and understand this book. Start by reading the New Testament portion of the Bible. I recommend reading the book of John first, then the book of Acts, followed by the books following Acts. All of the other sections of this Web site contain Bible teachings and direct quotations from the Bible. It is important that you find a group of believers in Jesus and meet with them regularly. These meetings must include teaching from the Bible and worship of Jesus. If the Bible is not read or if Jesus is not worshipped, find another group of believers to meet with. May God richly bless you! |
