The following scriptures describe
what God says about the Bible, the written Word of God.
James 1:21 Therefore lay aside all
sin and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the
implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
Romans 12:2 And do not be
conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your
mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and
perfect will of God.
Mark 4:14 "The
sower sows the word. "And these are the ones by the wayside where the
word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away
the word that was sown in their hearts.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God
is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and
marrow, and discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart.
John 1: In the beginning was the
Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God . He was in the
beginning with God . All things were made through Him, and without
Him nothing was made that was made . In Him was life, and the life
was the light of men . And the light shines in the darkness, and the
darkness did not comprehend it .
Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet
of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Jesus is the Word.John 1:14 And
the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Again, Jesus is the Word.Revelation
19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who
sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness
He judges and makes war. 12His eyes were like a flame of fire,
and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no
one knew except Himself. 13He was clothed with a robe dipped in
blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
1 John 4:17 Love has been
perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of
judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
Believe the Word of God that was
spoke and written down in the Bible. Romans 4:18 who, contrary to
hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations,
according to what was spoken, "So shall your descendants be."
Speak the Word of God to change your
situation . Matthew 16:19 "And I will give you the keys of the
kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in
heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
The Word of God is to be used as a
spiritual weapon . 2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our
warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down
strongholds, 5casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts
itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into
captivity to the obedience of Christ.
John 6:63 "It
is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words
that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God
created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and
void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit
of God was hovering over the face of the waters . Then God said, "Let
there be light"; and there was light . And God saw the light, that
it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness .
When you speak the Word of God,
angels respond ! Psalm 103:20 Bless the Lord, you His angels who
excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His
word.
Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward
Your holy temple and praise your name, for Your loving kindness and
Your truth . For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.
John 15:7 "If
you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you
desire, and it shall be done for you.
John 8:31 Then Jesus said to those
Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word,
you are My disciples indeed.
